Why Your Next Corporate Gathering Needs To Include Yoga

Think about that one, week long, summit you last attended. Yeah it’s fun, a great way to connect and network, and also a nice change of pace from your day to day – but how did you body feel during all those hours of sitting? How often did you catch yourself losing focus, staring blankly into a screen? Yeah… we remember those times too.

I’ve had the honor to guide over 75+ attendees from all over the world attending various conferences, summits, and extended stays for work. Hotels, Resorts, or Airbnbs. I make yoga work for them all!

I’m here to tell you why you should start adding yoga into your next corporate gathering.

Stress Relief: Events can be hectic and there isn't really an intentional chance to slow down. Adding yoga allows attendees to slow down, catch their breath, and give some well deserved attention to their body. They’ll come back refreshing, less stressed, and ready to participate in the coming activities and meetings.

Focus Is Reclaimed: Attendees may feel overwhelmed by a packed schedule, networking pressures, or simply being in a new environment. A yoga or mindfulness session provides a much-needed break, allowing participants to relax and reset.

The physical activity of yoga and focused breathing of mindfulness help reduce stress and anxiety, making it easier for focus to come back and fatigue to leave.

Energy Booster: We all know long events can be draining, on top of sitting for hours on end and trying to maintain focus only adds to the fatigue! When you add a yoga session in, whether it's the beginning, middle, or end of the day it will help level out your energy levels while enhancing mental clarity.

Inclusivity: Yoga is for all the people! This is a great optional addition you could add on for attendees. As your instructor, I am able to create a class that is suited for alll fitness levels and abilities. Whether your attendees are seasoned yogis or complete beginners, a skilled instructor can modify poses to ensure everyone can participate comfortably - talk about how classes can be held anywhere

Improves Company Culture: Companies that offer yoga classes to their employees are often seen as more progressive and employee-friendly. This can help improve company culture by creating a positive image and promoting a healthy work environment.

Enhanced Creativity: Yoga practices like mindfulness and breathwork can stimulate creativity by calming the mind, which can be especially useful during brainstorming sessions or workshops within the summit.
